Ross Bailes Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Cherokee

Gaffney, South Carolina - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to "The Place Your Mama Warned You About" Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney, South Carolina on Sunday May 29th for a 50 lap event paying $7,500 to win. 18 competitors signed into Sundays "Mike Butler Memorial" event.

Leading flag to flag Ross Bailes of Clover, South Carolina scored his eleventh career Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region victory Sunday at Cherokee Speedway. Zack Mitchell, Trent Ivey, Dennis Franklin, and Brent Dixon rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier was Trent Ivey with a time of 15.177 seconds.

The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for June 25th at Sumter Speedway located in Sumter, South Carolina for the "Summer Kickoff" event paying $5,000 to win.
