Jeff Smith Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Lancaster
Lancaster, South Carolina - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to "The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South" Lancaster Motor Speedway located in Lancaster, South Carolina on Friday June 21st for the "10th Annual Buddy Crook Memorial" event paying $12,000 to win. The event was also co-sanctioned with the Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series.
After taking the lead in the closing laps of the event Jeff Smith of Dallas, North Carolina held off Ultimate Southeast Tour competitors to score the victory with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region Friday at Lancaster Motor Speedway worth $12,000. The victory was Smiths third all time with the Ultimate Southeast Tour. Zack Mitchell, Ross Bailes, Sam Seawright, and Ashton Winger rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was Ben Watkins. After starting 26th and finishing 8th Trey Mills was the hard charger of the event. Heat race winners included Ben Watkins, Donald McIntosh, and Jeff Smith.
The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for July 13th at Lancaster Motor Speedway located in Lancaster, South Carolina paying $5,000 to win.
