Maryville, Tennessee - The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series is set to return to
the historic Smoky Mountain Speedway this Saturday, May 25th for the ULTIMATE
Memorial Day Showdown.The event will feature the ULTIMATE Super Late Models in a
40 lap slugfest gunning for the $4000 winner's purse. ULTIMATE Officials are
certainly excited about coming back to Smoky Mountain Speedway. “Smoky Mountain
has a great atmosphere and they have some excellent racing. We always look
forward to going there and working with their great staff. We had some really
great shows last year and I know that we will have another great one this coming
weekend as well.” said ULTIMATE Series Director Kelley Carlton.

Chris Madden Wins ULTIMATE Event At County Line
Chris Madden took the win in the Ultimate Super Late Model Series event
at County Line Raceway located in Elm City, NC. on May 17th. Madden started on
the pole and led flag to flag. The event was shorten to 41 laps due to a
rain storm that moved into the area.

Virginia Motor Speedway Next For ULTIMATE
The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will be heading to County Line Raceway
located in Elm City, NC Friday May 17th for a $5,000 to win event.
The two visits to County Line in 2012 produced 2 different winners.Madden picked up the win in the May event while
Virginian Walker Arthur scored the win in the $10,000 November “Race for the
Kids” event.
On Saturday May 18th the series will travel to Bill Sawyer’s beautiful Virginia Motor Speedway for the
return of the USA 100 for a $10,000 to win event.
Virginia Motor Speedway is located in Jamaica, VA. The 5/8ths of a mile facility is also regarded as one
of the nicest facilities in the country. In 2012 Steve Shaver put his K&L Rumley
Rocket in to the VMS Victory Lane.

Casey Roberts Scores Cleveland County ULTIMATE Series Victory

Casey Roberts displayed power and patience Friday en route to a $4,000 Ultimate
Super Late Model Series win at Cleveland County Speedway. The reigning series
champion utilized lap traffic to his advantage to overtake Jonathan Davenport
for the winning pass, then showed his seasoned prowess to the huge crowd
assembled around the 4/10-mile oval the rest of the way.
